Following the loss of the 159 service to Abellio in November 2015; this vehicle, which was previously in the fleet of Arriva London as fleet number VLA150, has been released for cascade and has been acquired by Arriva North East. It is currently undergoing preparation for service within the Arriva North East fleet, and is being repainted and refurbished to "MAX" specification.
