Following the cascade of "Sapphire" branded vehicles to Jesmond Depot to upgrade "Great North Road Routes" services 43/44/45, this vehicle has been withdrawn from service at Jesmond Depot and subsequently sold.

This vehicle has received "The Great North Road Routes" branding, promoting the combined 7-minute frequency of services 43/44/45 between Newcastle City Centre, Gosforth, Regent Centre and Wideopen. As part of the upgrade, this vehicle has also been fitted with free passenger Wi-Fi.

This vehicle has been repainted into Arriva's new corporate livery. The company's new corporate identity, which includes a new logo and brighter colours, will be applied across the group in a phased introduction. Following the inward transfer of four ADL Enviro 400s at Ashington for use primarily on "MAX" service X20, this vehicle has transferred from Ashington Depot to Jesmond, to be used primarily on "MAX" service 306.
