This vehicle has been repainted into the new fleet livery and refurbished internally (including renewal of seats to be re-trimmed in e-leather, as well as fitment of Wi-Fi and USB charging points). It has not yet received any sub-branding.

In order to standardise the Arriva North East and Arriva Yorkshire double-deck fleets, an exchange of Wright Eclipse Geminis is taking place. Arriva North East will lose their Volvo B5 Hybrid vehicles following the end of their Volvo maintenance contract, in exchange for more-familiar VDL DB300 examples. This vehicle, previously with Arriva Yorkshire as their fleet number 1533, has now joined the Arriva North East fleet, where it has been allocated fleet number 7634.

This vehicle, which carries a two-tone blue base livery, has arrived into the Arriva North East fleet. It is currently being prepared for service at Ashington Depot. Representing an investment of approximately £2.9m, this batch of vehicles have been ordered to replace the older ADL Enviro400s currently allocated to "Sapphire" services X21/X22 (Newbiggin - Ashington - Newcastle).... see more
