July 2017 Go North East Having incurred defects uneconomical to repair, this vehicle has been withdrawn from service at Percy Main Depot. Though no other double-deck vehicles are available to replace this vehicle at the moment, it is planned to be permanently replaced later this month pending the arrival of a further cascaded Scania N94UD/East Lancs OmniDekka from Brighton & Hove, which will reduce the number of different vehicle types and standardise the fleet at Percy Main.
January 2017 Go North East Photograph by This vehicle has received "DFDS Seaways" branding, for the 327 service operating between Newcastle City Centre and the International Ferry Terminal at North Shields, to connect with the DFDS Ferry to Ijmuiden for onward travel to Amsterdam. Each bus branded for the "DFDS Seaways" 327 service will feature different taglines on the uniquely coloured two-tone base livery. This example features the tagline "Your way to Amsterdam" on the nearside, and "Amsterdam Awaits" on the offside.
December 2016 Go North East Photograph by In line with a minor re-branding scheme of the DFDS 327 service, this vehicle has been repainted into a two-tone pink and white base livery.
