Following completion of all required vehicle re-allocations; this vehicle has been temporarily withdrawn from service due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and has been officially delicensed (SORN'd), enabling Go North East to obtain a tax refund.

This vehicle has been withdrawn from service at Riverside Depot, having sustained defects uneconomical to repair. It will be stored at Consett Depot, where it will provide additional spare part storage capacity.

Following changes to Nexus Miscellaneous Works contracts, which has seen Go North East being awarded with over 70 contracts for the 2018/19 academic year, this vehicle has been formally allocated to Riverside Depot. The Special Events Fleet, in which this vehicle was previously allocated, now only comprises of three coaches, which still remain available for Private Hire and rail replacement contracts.

Sunderland Illuminations are back for 2017, with lights spreading sparkle from St Peters Church all along the seafront. Roker Park will be transformed into a Festival of Light, with a Disney theme. The Park will be open every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 5 October to 5 November plus every night at half term, from 5pm – 10pm each night. In order to transport visitors to the event; Go North East are operating a special Park & Ride service, numbered 101. The service will run from Thursday 5 October - Sunday 5 November on Thursdays, Friday, Saturdays and Sundays, plus every day during half term week (23-27 October). As such; this vehicle has transferred from Percy Main Depot to Deptford, to operate this special service.

This vehicle has transferred from Riverside Depot's Special Events Fleet to Chester-le-Street, on temporary loan, to assist in the coverage of extra vehicle requirements on "DFDS Seaways" service 327.

Following the end of the two-phase Major Line Closure taking place between Monday 31st July and Saturday 2nd September 2017 to allow for work at Northumberland Park station and track and bridge renewal work which forms part of the £350m Metro: all change modernisation programme, this vehicle has moved into a newly-formed Special Events and Private Hire fleet. This Special Events fleet comprises of various coaches and double-deck buses: these should not be allocated to public services, but will be brought into service to operate Park & Ride contracts, shuttle services, and other services associated with special events. These vehicles also remain available for Private Hire.

Having previously carried 'Northern' fleet names, this vehicle has been repainted into Go North East's corporate livery.

Following the closure of Gateshead and Winlaton depots, this vehicle has been transferred to the brand new Riverside Depot. Riverside Depot replaces the existing depots at Sunderland Road in Gateshead and Winlaton which date back to the days of the tramways.

This vehicle has gained "Angel" branding and has entered service at Chester-le-Street Depot.

Previously with Go-Ahead London General as fleet number EVL37, this vehicle has been acquired by Go North East and allocated fleet number 3968. It is currently at Thornton Brothers, Ashington, undergoing a pink repaint and full refurbishment.

Having previously carried "Red Arrows" branding, this vehicle has been repainted into a plain red base livery. It is thought that this will coincide with a re-branding scheme of the "Red Arrows" branded vehicles once all vehicles have been repainted.

This vehicle has received "Washington Street Shuttle" branding, for the local minibus services operating out of Washington Depot.

Although originally expected to be withdrawn on Monday 18th January 2016, the CB1 shuttle service operated for an extended period until Monday 25th January 2016 and this vehicle continued to see use for a further few days following the withdrawal of the CB1 shuttle service. It has now been withdrawn from service at Riverside Depot, and has now been moved to Saltmeadows Road Depot whilst awaiting... see more
