Following completion of all required vehicle re-allocations; this vehicle has been temporarily withdrawn from service due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and has been officially delicensed (SORN'd), enabling Go North East to obtain a tax refund.
January 2020 Go North East
In order to isolate dual-door configuration buses at Saltmeadows, where they should only be allocated to Nexus Miscellaneous Works services, the scholars contracts at Riverside will now instead be operated from Saltmeadows. Provincial specification vehicles will instead be allocated to contracts from Riverside, where they are more likely to be allocated to services on the frontline core commercial network between schools, on weekends, and during school holidays. As such, this vehicle has transferred from Saltmeadows Road Depot to Riverside.

This vehicle has transferred from Percy Main Depot to Riverside, in order to operate the private scholars contract 850/851.

Following the entry into service of the former Go-Ahead London General Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 bodied Volvo B9TLs at Stanley; this vehicle has transferred from Stanley Depot to Percy Main, to enable the withdrawal of older Plaxton President bodied Volvo B7TLs.

This vehicle has been treated to a partial repaint into Go North East's new corporate livery. The new livery design is a a lot more eye-catching and features a two-tone base livery, with the traditional key colour of red towards the front of the bus, and non-metallic dark blue towards the back. It is thought that further vinyls will be added at a later date, in order to reflect the quality and customer values of Go North East.

This vehicle has had its seats re-trimmed into Go North East's standard blue 'Go' moquette.

As a result of recent service changes and consequent re-allocations, this vehicle has lost its "Prince Bishops" branding having been repainted into Go North East's 2019 fleet livery. The experimental blue front end has now been discontinued, and no further repaints are intended to include this colour on the front.

Following a number of publicity events to promote the investment into new vehicles for services 8 and 78, this vehicle has entered service at Chester-le-Street Depot on "Coast & Country" services 8/78.

In line with service changes and the introduction of new brand identities, there were a large number of vehicle re-allocations which took place on Sunday 19 May, the significance of which have been likened to the South Shields and Bishop Auckland depot closures in 2005 and 2006 respectively. Having incurred defects uneconomical to repair, this vehicle has been withdrawn from service at Chester-le-Street Depot. The Wi-Fi equipment fitted to this vehicle will be removed and fitted to another vehicle in the fleet.
