July 2018 Go North East Photograph by This vehicle has been sold for scrap to Alpha Recovery, Weetslade.
May 2018 Go North East Retained beyond its initial expected withdrawal date to replace Transbus MPD/Transbus Mini Pointer 559 (NK53 TKY) in the fleet at Riverside, this vehicle's MOT has now expired and as such has been withdrawn from service at Riverside Depot. It will be replaced in the fleet at Riverside by Optare Solo SR M890/Optare 722 (KY63 VTA) once this vehicle is prepared for service following delivery.
September 2017 Go North East Following the end of the two-phase Major Line Closure taking place between Monday 31st July and Saturday 2nd September 2017 to allow for work at Northumberland Park station and track and bridge renewal work which forms part of the £350m Metro: all change modernisation programme, this vehicle has moved into a float/reserve capacity. Though presently remaining based at Riverside; it is intended for this vehicle to transfer to Deptford Depot, where it will cover for Mercedes Citaro vehicles away for internal refurbishment and repaint at Bus & Coach World, Blackburn.

January 2016 Go North East Whilst similar Volvo B10BLE/Wright Renown 4896 (V986 ETN) is undergoing PSV test, this vehicle has transferred from Riverside Depot to Stanley, on temporary loan. 4896 (V986 ETN) is intended to replace 5160 (T810 CBW), which was withdrawn from service at Stanley last month. 5160 (T810 CBW) was originally retained at Stanley Depot, as a float/reserve vehicle, due to the early withdrawal of Dennis Trident/East Lancs Lolyne 3874 (W184 SCU) following accident damage.
August 2015 Go North East Photograph by This vehicle has received modifications at Thornton Brothers, Ashington, and as such is now DDA-compliant. This means that this vehicle does not need to be withdrawn from service prior to 1 January 2016 (like all other non-DDA compliant single deckers).

April 2020 Go North East Further service changes have taken place due to the reduced demand for bus services as a result of the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis. As such, this vehicle has transferred from Peterlee Depot to Deptford.
