This vehicle has been withdrawn from service at Deptford Depot, due to engine failure. It will be dismantled for spare parts and then sold for scrap.

This vehicle has received modifications at Thornton Brothers, Ashington, and as such is now DDA-compliant. This means that this vehicle does not need to be withdrawn from service prior to 1 January 2016 (like all other non-DDA compliant single deckers).

Ahead of the withdrawal of the 775 service (Sunderland - Consett) and the restructure of the routes along this corridor, this vehicle has received "Lime" branding, featuring the tagline "cross county connection".

In line with a major network review in Sunderland due to take place from 25th January 2015, the "Silver Arrows" brand name will be withdrawn, with the revised 2/2A services instead operated by "SimpliCity" branded Optare Versas. This vehicle has entered service at Gateshead Depot, on "Citylink" service 58, replacing the older articulated Mercedes Citaro vehicles previously allocated to the service. This bus also features free passenger Wi-Fi and Next Stop Announcements.
