Driver Training buses have been fitted with extra tables and re-deployed at depots as bait buses to allow better social distancing during drivers' breaks. This vehicle has therefore been reinstated at Hexham Depot.

Following completion of all required vehicle re-allocations; this vehicle has been temporarily withdrawn from service due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and has been officially delicensed (SORN'd), enabling Go North East to obtain a tax refund.

In order to improve the appearance of the Driver Training fleet, the entire batch of Scania L94s are to undergo repaint. Having previously carried a plain red base livery, this vehicle has now received a plain blue livery. It is intended for the batch to have branding fitted in the future, showcasing some of the benefits of joining "Team GNE" thereby acting as a mobile advertisement for the company's recruitment programme.

Following the completion of modifications at Thornton Brothers, Ashington, this vehicle has returned to service within Riverside's Driver Training fleet.

This vehicle has been withdrawn from service at Chester-le-Street Depot and is currently receiving modifications at Thorntons Brothers, Ashington, ahead of impending cascade to the Driver Training fleet.

Due to a reduction in spare vehicles at Deptford and an upcoming PVR increase at Chester-le-Street on the Ushaw College DU2 service until Easter 2017, this vehicle has transferred from Deptford Depot to Chester-le-Street.
