Initially a temporary transfer to Stanley Depot for the duration of the closure of Edmondsley Crossroads between Monday 7th December and Friday 11th December 2015, this vehicle has been retained at Stanley Depot, as a float/reserve vehicle, due to the early withdrawal of Dennis Trident/East Lancs Lolyne 3874 (W184 SCU) following accident damage. It will be replaced prior to 1st January 2016 by another vehicle, as this vehicle does not meet DDA / PSVAR regulations and is not intended to be modified.

Due to the closure of Edmondsley Crossroads between Monday 7th December and Friday 11th December 2015, the PVR of the "Durham Diamond" 16/16A services has increased by two vehicles, due to the increased journey time associated with the diversionary route in place. As such, this vehicle has transferred from Percy Main Depot to Stanley, on temporary loan.

Following the end of the Springwell Road shuttle service, this vehicle remains in use and has transferred from Riverside Depot to Percy Main, providing an additional spare vehicle while some of Percy Main's dual-door Wright Renown bodied Volvo B10BLEs undergo DDA modifications.

This vehicle has been reinstated at Riverside Depot for use on a free shuttle service which has been provided by Gateshead Council due to Springwell Road being resurfaced on Wednesday 11th November 2015 and Friday 13th November 2015 between 08:00 and 16:00.

All of Saltmeadows Road's operations have transferred to Riverside Depot, which has resulted in the transfer of this vehicle from Saltmeadows Road Depot to Riverside. It is not yet known what the future will hold for Saltmeadows Road Depot, but maintenance and repairs, repaints and re-trims, and the storage of new vehicles, is still expected to be held at Saltmeadows Road Depot for the foreseeable future.

With the opening of the new Riverside Depot which replaces the old Gateshead and Winlaton Depots; eleven vehicles from Saltmeadows Road Depot have transferred to Riverside Depot (including this vehicle), due to the operation of various services being additionally transferred.
