January 2024 Go North East Photograph by Ahead of the entry into service of the new Wright Streetlite DF/Wright Streetlite Max vehicles within the Driver Training fleet, this vehicle has been withdrawn from service.
June 2020 Go North East Photograph by Driver Training buses have been fitted with extra tables and re-deployed at depots as bait buses to allow better social distancing during drivers' breaks. This vehicle has therefore been reinstated at Deptford Depot.
April 2020 Go North East Following completion of all required vehicle re-allocations; this vehicle has been temporarily withdrawn from service due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and has been officially delicensed (SORN'd), enabling Go North East to obtain a tax refund.
August 2018 Go North East Photograph by This vehicle has now received "Join the Team!" branding; which showcases some of the benefits of joining the company and training at the Team GNE Academy, such as free travel benefits, free uniform, and high-street retailer discounts.

April 2018 Go North East In order to improve the appearance of the Driver Training fleet, the entire batch of Scania L94s are to undergo repaint. Having previously carried a plain red base livery, this vehicle has now received a plain blue livery. It is intended for the batch to have branding fitted in the future, showcasing some of the benefits of joining "Team GNE" thereby acting as a mobile advertisement for the company's recruitment programme.
February 2018 Go North East Due to a reduction in spare vehicles, this vehicle has been withdrawn from service at Riverside. It is currently receiving modifications at Thorntons Brothers, Ashington, ahead of impending cascade to the Driver Training fleet.
October 2017 Go North East Having been released for cascade following the transfer of Scania L94UB/Wright Solar 5229 (NK55 OLG) to Chester-le-Street, this vehicle has transferred to Riverside Depot. At Riverside; this vehicle serves as a replacement for Volvo B10BLE/Wright Renown 4898 (V988 ETN), which has been withdrawn to allow sale for preservation.
February 2017 Go North East Following temporary loan to Crook Depot, this vehicle has returned to service at Chester-le-Street.
February 2017 Go North East This vehicle has transferred from Chester-le-Street Depot to Crook, on temporary loan, to alleviate vehicle shortages.
October 2015 Go North East Photograph by This vehicle has transferred from Deptford Depot to Chester-le-Street, where it will see allocation to the new DU2 service (Durham City Centre - Ushaw College). The new contract is due to commence from Monday 5th October 2015.
