Vehicle History

September 2018 Go North East This vehicle has been sold for scrap to Alpha Recovery, Weetslade.
January 2018 Go North East The entry into service of the Volvo B5LH/Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 vehicles at Percy Main on "Coaster" services 1/1A will allow the Scania CN230UB/Scania Omnicity vehicles currently allocated to these routes to be displaced elsewhere. The majority are planned to be cascaded to "Blue Arrow" service 11, providing an upgraded allocation on this route and allowing the withdrawal of the branded Scania L94UB/Wright Solar allocation, while the others are being distributed among Percy Main, Stanley and Washington, for various purposes. This vehicle has been replaced in the fleet at Percy Main by one of the Scania CN230UB/Scania Omnicity vehicles which will remain at Percy Main on "Blue Arrow" service 11, and, having incurred defects uneconomical to repair, has been withdrawn from service ahead of the OmniCitys being allocated to the route.
July 2016 Go North East Photograph by This vehicle has received "Blue Arrow" branding. There are a number of changes to Go North East's services in the Gateshead and surrounding areas, from 24th July 2016. As part of these changes, services 17 and 96 will be withdrawn and amalgamated into one route (service 11), which will be branded as "Blue Arrow". This new service provides a number of benefits: a faster service to Newcastle from parts of North Tyneside; a new direct service to Newcastle, Gateshead and Metrocentre from areas such as Percy Main, East Howdon and Willington Quay; and a direct bus between Newcastle and Royal Quays.
June 2016 Go North East Having previously carried Go North East's corporate livery, this vehicle has been repainted into a plain blue base livery.
May 2016 Go North East This vehicle has transferred from Deptford Depot to Percy Main.
