This vehicle has now been permanently withdrawn from service at Go North East, and is being prepared for disposal, with a buyer having been sourced.

From Monday 1 June 2020, in line with guidance from the government, Go North East's bus services will start returning to what can be considered a 'normal' level of service on weekdays (albeit still reduced on weekends), also with some minor changes which had originally been planned to take place from 17 May 2020. As such, this vehicle has now been re-licensed, but remains out of service.

Following completion of all required vehicle re-allocations; this vehicle has been temporarily withdrawn from service due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and has been officially delicensed (SORN'd), enabling Go North East to obtain a tax refund.

This vehicle has received "Black Cats" branding. "Black Cats" is the new brand identity being introduced to encompass a variety of different frequent services in and around the city of Sunderland, promoting the cheap and competitively priced day and weekly tickets available for travel in the city (£3.65 for a day ticket, and £12.15 for a weekly ticket).

Having previously carried a plain silver base livery, this vehicle has been repainted into Go North East's corporate livery. It should act as a primary spare vehicle for services at Riverside Depot which are allocated Mercedes Citaros: "Blaydon Racers" service 49, "Citylink" service 57 and "Crusader" service 27.

Having previously carried Go-Ahead London's corporate livery, this vehicle has now been repainted into Go North East's corporate livery and has also been fitted with Hanover LED destination displays. This example carries the tagline "Never miss your stop | Many of our buses have next stop screens and announcements".

This vehicle, which carries a red base livery, has arrived into the Go North East fleet. Equipped with free Wi-Fi and Next Stop Announcements, this vehicle is currently being prepared for service at Saltmeadows Road Depot. Once prepared for service; it will be allocated to Washington Depot for use on "Red Arrows" service X1, displacing the remaining single deckers allocated.

Ahead of the commencement of the new contract for "Sunderland Connect" service 700, this vehicle has been repainted into a plain green base livery. The three "Sunderland Connect" branded vehicles gained a promotional wrap-style advertisement to celebrate Christmas in Sunderland during the festive season in 2014.
