From Monday 1 June 2020, in line with guidance from the government, Go North East's bus services will start returning to what can be considered a 'normal' level of service on weekdays (albeit still reduced on weekends), also with some minor changes which had originally been planned to take place from 17 May 2020. As such, this vehicle has now been reinstated at Deptford.

Following completion of all required vehicle re-allocations; this vehicle has been temporarily withdrawn from service due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and has been officially delicensed (SORN'd), enabling Go North East to obtain a tax refund.

Following service changes in May 2019 which resulted in service X5 being re-routed via Silksworth to partially replace service 36, this service was re-numbered 55. As such, this service has been removed from the "Wear Xpress" brand and hence the vehicle allocation needs to be repainted into the company's fleet livery. As such, this vehicle has now been repainted into the 2019 fleet livery.

This vehicle has returned to Go North East following internal refurbishment and repaint into a plain maroon base livery. It is currently undergoing preparation for service at Saltmeadows Road Depot prior to allocation to Deptford Depot for "Wear Xpress" service X5 (Sunderland - Hartlepool).

Following the entry into service of new Wright Streetlite DF/Wright Streetlite Max Micro-Hybrid vehicles on "Durham Diamond" service 16, this vehicle has been temporarily withdrawn from service to be internally refurbished and repainted at Bus & Coach World, Blackburn. The extensive refurbishment work includes, but is not limited to, external repaint; deep cleaning of the interior of the vehicle; renewal of floor coverings; cleaning all seat frames and re-trimming seats into leather with USB sockets on the back of every seat; fitting blue accent lighting underneath seats to provide extra light on the gangway; and fitting Next Stop Announcements.

Prior to impending cascade following the entry into service of new Wright Streetlite DF/Wright Streetlite Max Micro-Hybrid vehicles on "Durham Diamond" service 16, this vehicle has been fitted with free customer Wi-Fi.

This vehicle has received "Durham Diamond" branding, with sub-branding for services 16/16A (Durham - Stanley - Castleside). The new "Durham Diamond" brand replaces the current branding on "Diamond" services 43/44 and "Venture" service V8, coinciding with service changes which will take place at the end of October.
