This vehicle, which previously carried "Blaydon Racers" branding, has been repainted into a plain red base livery, and has also gained the revised version of the "Blaydon Racers" branding.
This vehicle has transferred from Riverside Depot to Chester-le-Street, on a temporary basis, in exchange for Optare Versa V1110/Optare 8324 (NK11 FXG) which is now at Riverside. The temporary exchange has taken place due to 5389 (NL63 YAX) being involved in an incident. While the investigation is ongoing, it has been moved away from the area.
Following repaint earlier this year, this vehicle has now received "Venture" branding. The design has been slightly modified compared to the previous version, now no longer including a large white 'V' in the centre of the "Venture" logo, covering the windows. The 'V' is now less prominent and an outline of this letter is instead shown at the back of the bus.... see more
