June 2020 Go North East Photograph by From Monday 1 June 2020, in line with guidance from the government, Go North East's bus services will start returning to what can be considered a 'normal' level of service on weekdays (albeit still reduced on weekends), also with some minor changes which had originally been planned to take place from 17 May 2020. As such, this vehicle has now been reinstated at Riverside.
April 2020 Go North East Following completion of all required vehicle re-allocations; this vehicle has been temporarily withdrawn from service due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and has been officially delicensed (SORN'd), enabling Go North East to obtain a tax refund.
February 2020 Go North East Photograph by Ahead of impending re-allocation of cherished registration marks; this vehicle has lost registration mark 'N21 GNE' and has returned to its original registration plate, 'NK58 DVX'.
April 2018 Go North East Photograph by This vehicle has surrendered its original registration, NK58 DVX, which has now been held on retention, having been allocated cherished registration plate 'N21 GNE'. This cherished registration plate was originally acquired to promote the company's night-bus N21 service, and was intended to be allocated to Wright StreetDeck/Wright StreetDeck Micro-Hybrid 3 6333 (NK67 GOC). Due to a concern that this registration plate would hide the age of the vehicle which is still relatively new, the decision was made to temporarily allocate the cherished registration mark to this vehicle, due to it sharing commonality in its fleet number to the registration mark.
January 2018 Go North East Photograph by From 28th January 2018, Go North East are making changes to a number of services to improve reliability and to allow new travel opportunities. As part of these service changes, Go North East will introduce a new service, numbered 26 and branded as "Crusader". There will be more journeys running between Newcastle and Jarrow, with buses now running up to every 10 minutes on Monday - Saturday daytimes. Between Jarrow and South Shields, journeys will run every 20 minutes as service 27 on the current route via Tyne Dock, and every 20 minutes as service 26 via Primrose, South Leam and South Tyneside Hospital, replacing this section of "South Tyne" services 88 and 88A, offering new direct connections to Newcastle from areas such as York Avenue, Primrose and South Leam. As such, the cant rail and rear branding of this vehicle has been modified ahead of the service changes.

June 2017 Go North East This vehicle has returned to Go North East following internal refurbishment and repaint into a light grey base livery. The shade of paint is a different colour to the silver previously used on "The Crusader" service 27, with the company moving away from metallic paint colours in favour of standard solid colours, which are easier to maintain and colour-match when panels are damaged and need to be changed. It is currently undergoing preparation for service at Saltmeadows Road Depot prior to allocation to Riverside Depot.
May 2017 Go North East This vehicle has been temporarily withdrawn from service at Riverside Depot and released for internal refurbished and repaint at Bus & Coach World, Blackburn. The extensive refurbishment work includes, but is not limited to, external repaint; deep cleaning of the interior of the vehicle; renewal of floor coverings; cleaning all seat frames and re-trimming seats into leather with USB sockets on the back of every seat; fitting blue accent lighting underneath seats to provide extra light on the gangway; and fitting Next Stop Announcements.
February 2017 Go North East Prior to being released for internal refurbishment and repaint at Bus & Coach World, Blackburn, this vehicle has been fitted with free customer Wi-Fi.
August 2016 Go North East Photograph by Following recent service changes which saw the PVR of the "Citylink" 57 service rise by three vehicles, this vehicle has received "Citylink" branding.
July 2016 Go North East Photograph by Having previously carried a plain silver base livery, this vehicle has been repainted into a plain blue base livery. There are a number of changes to Go North East's services in the Gateshead and surrounding areas, from 24th July 2016. "Citylink" service 58 will be revised to operate every 12 minutes between Heworth and Newcastle only. To maintain the link between Newcastle and Hadrian Park, "Citylink" service 57 will be extended from Newcastle to Hadrian Park, on the same route and frequency as the current "Citylink" 58 service.
May 2016 Go North East Photograph by As a result of service revisions at Deptford Depot and the change in allocation to some of Deptford's services, this vehicle has transferred from Deptford Depot to Riverside. Until July 2016, this vehicle will act as an additional spare vehicle for "Crusader" service 27, "Blaydon Racers" service 49 and "Citylink" service 57.
January 2015 Go North East Photograph by In line with a major network review in Sunderland commencing 25th January 2015; this vehicle is now allocated to service 61, operating between Sunderland, Dalton Park and Murton. At the moment, it carries no route branding.
November 2014 Go North East Photograph by In line with a major network review in Sunderland due to take place from 25th January 2015, the "Silver Arrows" brand name will be withdrawn, with the revised 2/2A services instead operated by "SimpliCity" branded Optare Versas. As there will be an increase in the number of Optare Versas required to operate the revised 2/2A services, "SimpliCity" service 61 will instead be allocated Mercedes Citaros 5320 - 5324, with a new 'shopper hopper' style brand introduced on a silver base. As such; ahead of these changes, this vehicle has now been repainted into a plain silver base livery.
November 2012 Go North East Photograph by This vehicle has received "Silver Arrows" branding, with sub-branding for services 2A/2C. The new and improved 10-minute frequency has been added to the cant rail, promoting the more regular service provided between Sunderland City Centre and Washington, via Chester Road and Penshaw.
October 2012 Go North East Photograph by Ahead of service changes taking place on 11th November 2012, which will see the frequency of "Silver Arrows" services 2A/2C to be increased to provide a bus on each route every 20 minutes (providing a combined 10-minute frequency between Sunderland City Centre, Chester Road and Penshaw), this vehicle has undergone repaint into a plain silver base livery. The bodywork panels had been suffering from corrosion and needed to be replaced, so was repainted free of charge under warranty.
May 2012 Go North East Photograph by With the operation of "Silver Arrows" services 2A/2C transferring to Deptford Depot, this vehicle has also transferred from Washington Depot to Deptford.
October 2008 Go North East Photograph by This vehicle has entered service at Washington Depot on "Silver Arrows" services 2A/2C. Introduced from 26th October 2008; these services have partly replaced the old 73/74 circular services, with the link to Teal Farm in Washington being withdrawn due to low passenger numbers, and replaced by a new Go North East secured service operating under contract to Nexus.
October 2008 Go North East Prior to entering service; this vehicle has received "Silver Arrows" branding, with sub-branding for services 2A/2C. The "Silver Arrows" brand name has been introduced to complement the well-established "Red Arrows" service - together with the "Red Arrows" X2 service, the "Silver Arrows" 2A/2C services will provide a luxury bus service every ten minutes between Sunderland, Hastings Hill and Washington.
September 2008 Go North East This vehicle, which carries a plain silver base livery, has arrived into the Go North East fleet, and is currently being prepared for service at Saltmeadows Road Depot. It is of 'Gold Standard' specification; featuring full CCTV coverage and recording, information screens, and comfortable seats for all including priority seating with a wheelchair bay for elderly and disabled customers.
