From 28th January 2018, Go North East are making changes to a number of services to improve reliability and to allow new travel opportunities. As part of these service changes; the section of the route on service 9 between Jarrow and North Shields will be replaced by service 5, and, from Jarrow, service 9 will now run to Lukes Lane Estate, via Argyle Street, Lyon Street, Hebburn Town Centre, Hartleyburn Estate and Monkton Lane Estate, replacing this section of services 88/88A. As well as this, from Sunderland, the service will be extended to Murton via New Seaham and Dalton Park, replacing service 61, and offering new cross-town connections. In line with these changes; Go North East are introducing a new brand for the service, entitled "The 9", which this vehicle has now received branding for.

Prior to returning to service, this vehicle has received Go North East's corporate livery. Unlike other vehicles in Go North East's corporate livery; this vehicle has not been fitted with a tagline or web URL vinyl, nor has it been fitted with advert frames on the side and rear.

This vehicle has returned to Go North East following internal refurbishment and repaint into Go North East's corporate base livery. It is currently undergoing preparation for service at Saltmeadows Road Depot prior to allocation to Deptford Depot.

This vehicle has been temporarily withdrawn from service at Riverside Depot and released for internal refurbished and repaint at Bus & Coach World, Blackburn. The extensive refurbishment work includes, but is not limited to, external repaint; deep cleaning of the interior of the vehicle; renewal of floor coverings; cleaning all seat frames and re-trimming seats into leather with USB sockets on the back of every seat; fitting blue accent lighting underneath seats to provide extra light on the gangway; and fitting Next Stop Announcements.

This vehicle has been repainted into Go North East's new corporate livery. The new livery design is a a lot more eye-catching and features a two-tone base livery, with the traditional key colour of red towards the front of the bus, and non-metallic dark blue towards the back. It is thought that further vinyls will be added at a later date, in order to reflect the quality and customer values of Go North East.

Acting as a spare vehicle for "Crusader" service 27 and "Citylink" service 57, this vehicle has been fitted with free customer Wi-Fi.

Following the entry into service of new Wright Streetlite DF/Wright Streetlite Max Micro-Hybrid vehicles on "The 49" service 49, this vehicle has been stripped of "Blaydon Racers" branding prior to being released for internal refurbishment and repaint at Bus & Coach World, Blackburn.

As a consequence of service revisions, the peak vehicle requirement of the services held within the "Blaydon Racers" network increased by one vehicle. As such; following the entry into service of new Volvo B9TL/Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 vehicles at Percy Main on "Cobalt Clipper" services 309/310, this vehicle has been repainted into a red base livery and has transferred from Percy Main Depot to Riverside.
November 2010 Go North East
To simplify the services on the Coast Road corridor, services 75/76 will be withdrawn from 13th November 2010. Between Newcastle and North Shields, the services will be replaced by a brand new 310 service, operating every every 15 minutes and serving Coast Road, High Farm, Battle Hill, Middle Engine Lane, Norham Road, Verne Road and Meadow Well. Combined with the existing "Cobalt Clipper" 309 service, a bus is provided every 7-8 minutes between Newcastle City Centre, the Coast Road, Battle Hill, and Middle Engine Lane. As such, this vehicle has received "Cobalt Clipper" branding, with sub-branding for services 309 (Newcastle - Blyth) and 310 (Newcastle - North Shields).

Currently devoid of route branding pending service changes affecting services on the Coast Road corridor; this vehicle has entered service at Percy Main Depot, on "The Centurion" services 75/76.

This vehicle, which carries a plain silver base livery, has arrived into the Go North East fleet, and is currently being prepared for service at Saltmeadows Road Depot. It is of 'Gold Standard' specification; featuring full CCTV coverage and recording, information screens, and comfortable seats for all including priority seating with a wheelchair bay for elderly and disabled customers.

This vehicle has been repainted into a plain pink base livery. Once prepared for service; this vehicle will be allocated to Washington Depot, and the recently introduced "indiGo" brand will be expanded to encompass services 85/86.

As a temporary measure, this vehicle has been reinstated at Stanley Depot, and has been de-branded, so now no longer carries "Red Arrows" branding.

Ahead of upcoming service changes; this vehicle has lost its "Diamond" branding, having been repainted into a midnight blue base livery.
