Although originally intended to return to service at Washington; this vehicle was intended to be transferred to Deptford from 28th January 2018, following the cascade of Scania CN230UB/Scania Omnicity 5262 (NK56 KJX) to Washington. Instead of being allocated to Washington to transfer two days later, it has returned to service at Deptford instead. At Deptford, this vehicle should act as the dedicated spare vehicle for "The 9", operating between Lukes Lane, Jarrow, Sunderland and Murton, from 28th January 2018.
