This vehicle, which has been in storage at Smiles Engineering, Newcastle upon Tyne, whilst being dismantled for spare parts, has now been sold for scrap to Alpha Recovery, Weetslade.

Having been withdrawn from service at Gateshead Depot; this vehicle has been moved to Smiles Engineering, Newcastle upon Tyne, where it will be stored and used for spare parts. It is thought that the engine will be used on similar 5350 (BX54 UCR), and other parts distributed amongst the other articulated Mercedes Citaro 0530G/Mercedes Citaro vehicles at Gateshead Depot.

Because the internal layout is unsuitable for Go North East use without modification, this vehicle has been withdrawn from service at Gateshead Depot.

This vehicle has gained LED destination displays, ahead of its entry into service at Gateshead Depot, as a spare vehicle for "Citylink" service 58.

Previously with Go-Ahead London Central as fleet number MAL66, this vehicle has been acquired by Go North East and allocated fleet number 5357. It is unknown at this stage whether the vehicle will be used in service or merely used for spare parts.

Following repaint, this vehicle has gained "Fast Cats" branding, without route details above the windows.

This vehicle has received "Lambton Worm" branding, with sub-branding for service 71 (Chester-le-Street - Houghton-le-Spring - Sunderland). The Lambton Worm is a legend from County Durham in North East England in the UK. Upcoming service changes in May will see the "Toon Link" brand encompass services 6, X30/X31 and X70/X71 with a mixed allocation of Scania OmniCitys and Scania OmniDekkas. This vehicle has consequently received "Toon Link" branding, following repaint.
May 2017 Go North East
Following use on the temporary shuttle bus, numbered S25, in Eighton Banks and Wrekenton, this vehicle has transferred from Riverside Depot to Hexham. It will be allocated to "Tynedale Links" services X81/185/681 to compare against the low-carbon emission Optare Solo SRs currently allocated to these services, as originally planned when it was previously allocated to Hexham.
