This vehicle, which has been in storage at Smiles Engineering, Newcastle upon Tyne, whilst being dismantled for spare parts, has now been sold for scrap to Alpha Recovery, Weetslade.

Having been withdrawn from service at Gateshead Depot; this vehicle has been moved to Smiles Engineering, Newcastle upon Tyne, where it will be stored and used for spare parts. It is thought that the engine will be used on similar 5350 (BX54 UCR), and other parts distributed amongst the other articulated Mercedes Citaro 0530G/Mercedes Citaro vehicles at Gateshead Depot.

Previously with Go-Ahead London Central as fleet number MAL66, this vehicle has been acquired by Go North East and allocated fleet number 5357. It is unknown at this stage whether the vehicle will be used in service or merely used for spare parts.

Previously with Go-Ahead London Central as fleet number WVL254, this vehicle has now joined the Go North East fleet. To reflect changes to the route of service 39, the route details on the branding of this vehicle have been altered to read 'Southwick - Enterprise Park - City Centre - Doxford International'.

Following a number of publicity events to promote the investment into new vehicles for services 8 and 78, this vehicle has entered service at Chester-le-Street Depot. On Sundays; when the PVR of the "Coast & Country" services is reduced, 5401 (NK15 ENO) is allocated to services 14 and X22. This vehicle has been repainted into a plain white base livery, providing spare coverage in the event of a branded vehicle being unavailable for service.
