From Monday 1 June 2020, in line with guidance from the government, Go North East's bus services will start returning to what can be considered a 'normal' level of service on weekdays (albeit still reduced on weekends), also with some minor changes which had originally been planned to take place from 17 May 2020. As such, this vehicle has now been reinstated at Washington.

Following completion of all required vehicle re-allocations; this vehicle has been temporarily withdrawn from service due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and has been officially delicensed (SORN'd), enabling Go North East to obtain a tax refund.

This vehicle has entered service at Washington Depot on the new ?Connections4? service 4 (Houghton-le-Spring - Heworth).

Ahead of its entry into service, this vehicle has gained ?Connections4? branding, with sub-branding for service 4 (Heworth - Houghton-le-Spring). ?Connections4? is the new brand name for service 4, which directly replaces the ?MetroLINK? brand name for service M1, with no changes to the existing route or timetable. It promotes the connections available on the service ?for? Heworth Interchange, Concord, Washington Galleries, Shiney Row and Houghton-le-Spring.

This vehicle, which carries a midnight blue base livery, has arrived into the Go North East fleet. It is currently being prepared for service at Saltmeadows Road Depot. Representing an investment of approximately £2,000,000, Go North East has ordered a batch of eleven Euro 5 Mercedes Citaro heavy-weight single-deckers to be launched on ?MetroLINK? service M1 at Washington Depot. These brand new buses feature high-backed seating, free on-board passenger Wi-Fi, and ?Next Stop? audio-visual announcements.

Having previously carried Go-Ahead London's corporate livery, this vehicle has now been repainted into Go North East's corporate livery and has also been fitted with Hanover LED destination displays. This example carries the tagline "Stay Connected | Many of our buses have free WiFi on board".

Since the withdrawal of Oxfordshire County Council subsidies on 20th July 2016, Thames Travel has been operating the Bicester Town bus services 22 and 23 on a commercial basis. Having been required to enter service temporarily in Bluestar's corporate livery, this vehicle has now been taken out of service to enable completion of repaint and fitment of a cab door vandal screen. This example has now been repainted into Go North East's corporate livery and carries the tagline "Stay Connected | Many of our buses have free WiFi on board".

The seasonal Hadrian's Wall Country Bus, number AD122, has been withdrawn until Easter 2017. To allow for the withdrawal of Volvo B10BLE/Wright Renown 4912 (X912 WGR), this vehicle has transferred from Hexham Depot to Percy Main, while it is surplus to requirements at Hexham.
