From Monday 1 June 2020, in line with guidance from the government, Go North East's bus services will start returning to what can be considered a 'normal' level of service on weekdays (albeit still reduced on weekends), also with some minor changes which had originally been planned to take place from 17 May 2020. As such, this vehicle has now been reinstated at Deptford.
April 2020 Go North East
Following completion of all required vehicle re-allocations; this vehicle has been temporarily withdrawn from service due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and has been officially delicensed (SORN'd), enabling Go North East to obtain a tax refund.

This vehicle has gained an offside vinyl to advertise that local radio station Sun FM voiced the audio announcements for "Drifter" service 60.

Following trials at Riverside and Stanley, this vehicle has now returned to service at Deptford Depot on "Drifter" service 60.

To allow the withdrawal of elderly Wright Renown bodied Volvo B10BLEs from the fleet, "Lime" services 8/78 are believed to be in-line to receive brand new vehicles within this financial year. To test suitability of the Wright Streetlite vehicle type, as well as comparing against the Mercedes Citaro demonstrator vehicle (9120) which has been trialled, this vehicle has been transferred from Riverside Depot to Stanley, where it will see allocation to services 8/78.

Ahead of its entry into service, this vehicle has gained "Drifter" branding, with sub-branding for service 60 (Sunderland - Parkside).

This vehicle, which carries a light blue livery, has arrived into the Go North East fleet. It features Wi-Fi and Next Stop Announcement screens, and is currently being prepared for service at Saltmeadows Road Depot. Once prepared for service, it is expected that the vehicle will transfer to Deptford Depot.

The colour section of this vehicle's destination display was fitted to the wrong side of the display in build, meaning that the route number was not being displayed in colour. The destination display on this vehicle has now been modified so that the colour route number panel is on the correct side of the display.

As part of a re-branding scheme for the "Cobalt Clipper" 309/310 services, this vehicle has been repainted into a plain silver base livery.

Prior to new branding being launched, this vehicle has been repainted into Go North East's new red, yellow and blue 'swoop-style' fleet livery at Hogarths Coachworks, Birtley.
