Vehicle History

October 2016 Go North East This vehicle has been sold for scrap to Alpha Recovery, Weetslade.
April 2016 Go North East Photograph by To alleviate car park capacity issues within the nPower grounds at Rainton Bridge Business Park, a Park & Ride scheme was set up in September 2014. The Park & Ride services demonstrated an ongoing partnership between Go North East and nPower, following on from the already established relationship the companies have with each other. The services are not accessible by the public and only nPower employees can use them. The Park & Ride scheme was withdrawn on Sunday 17th April 2016, which has allowed this vehicle to be withdrawn from service at Deptford Depot.
February 2016 Go North East Photograph by The ongoing roadworks at Chowdene Bridge came to an end on the evening of Friday 26th February 2016, allowing all bus services, including Loop services 93 and 94, to return to their normal route from the morning of Saturday 27th February. In addition; the free shuttle bus which was in operation from Eastern Avenue to Sainsbury’s at Team Valley South, has been withdrawn from the same date. As such, this vehicle has transferred from Riverside Depot to Deptford.
October 2015 Go North East Photograph by This vehicle has been reinstated at Riverside Depot as a float vehicle, where it will operate a special shuttle service between Eastern Avenue and Team Valley Sainsbury's & Marquis Way. From Monday 26th October 2015, the railway bridge at Chowdene will be closed for 4 months as the bridge is being replaced. There will be pedestrian access across over the railway line during the closure as a temporary footbridge is to be constructed. During the closure, the stops at Salcombe Gardens on Chowdene Bank won’t be served and the Sainsbury’s stop on Chowdene Bank will only be served by a shuttle service which connects with "Loop" services 93/94.
August 2015 Go North East This vehicle has been withdrawn from service at Crook Depot.
