From Monday 1 June 2020, in line with guidance from the government, Go North East's bus services will start returning to what can be considered a 'normal' level of service on weekdays (albeit still reduced on weekends), also with some minor changes which had originally been planned to take place from 17 May 2020. As such, this vehicle has now been reinstated at Deptford.

Following completion of all required vehicle re-allocations; this vehicle has been temporarily withdrawn from service due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and has been officially delicensed (SORN'd), enabling Go North East to obtain a tax refund.

Its position as a float/reserve vehicle replaced at Riverside following fleet re-allocations, this vehicle now forms part of the main fleet allocation at Riverside Depot.

Service revisions came into effect from Sunday 26 January which saw revised bus workings at Riverside for operational effiencies and to improve reliability on service 6. As such, Mercedes Citaro 0350N/Mercedes Citaros 5275 – 5282 are all to undergo repaint into fleet livery (from Blaydon Racer and Citylink). Following completion of the last remaining “Wear Xpress” branded Citaro, this vehicle has transferred from Deptford Depot to Riverside, in order to provide cover whilst 5275 – 5282 undergo repaint.

Whilst building and facilities work is being carried out at Washington Depot, the operation of the Miscellaneous Works and additional peak-time commercial services that the depot operates, has transferred to Deptford. In order to operate this work, this vehicle has transferred from Washington Depot to Deptford.

Following on from the fitment of free customer Wi-Fi to all of the Scania CN230UB/Scania Omnicity buses which operate services 5 and 50, this vehicle has also been fitted with free customer Wi-Fi to ensure the quality of service provided to passengers is maintained on services 4, 5 and 50, for which these vehicles act as spare vehicles for. This contributes towards Go North East's project to upgrade every service in the Washington and South Tyneside areas with free Wi-Fi.

Having been required to enter service temporarily in Bluestar's corporate livery, this vehicle has now been taken out of service to enable completion of repaint and fitment of a cab door vandal screen. This example has now been repainted into Go North East's corporate livery and carries the tagline "Recharge your batteries | Many of our buses have power sockets on board".

Alongside sister 5486 (HW07 CXX); as well as primarily acting as a spare vehicle for "Connections4" service 4 (serving as a replacement vehicle for Scania CN230UB/Scania Omnicity 5263 (NK56 KJY) in the fleet which has transferred to Percy Main), this vehicle will also be allocated to newly-awarded Nexus Miscellaneous Works contracts operating from the depot. It has now entered service at Washington. As there was not sufficient time to repaint these vehicles prior to entering service; they currently remain in Bluestar livery with Go North East fleet names, but are intended to be repainted on a one-for-one basis in the near future.

New to Southern Vectis in June 2007 as fleet number 457, this vehicle was previously in the fleet of Bluestar as fleet number 2457. It was released from Bluestar in line with the upgrade of the "Unilink" services to brand new Dennis Trident 2/Alexander Enviro 400MMC vehicles, which has seen the re-allocation of the current "Unilink" vehicles to service 17 to allow the withdrawal of this batch of Mercedes Citaros. The entire batch have been acquired by Go North East, ahead of changes to Nexus Miscellaneous Works contracts, which has seen Go North East being awarded with over 70 contracts for the 2018/19 academic year. This example has been re-numbered to 5487 in Go North East's fleet.

Serving as a replacement for Transbus MPD/Transbus Mini Pointer 570 (NK53 TMU) which was withdrawn having sustained defects uneconomical to repair, this vehicle has transferred from Riverside Depot to Deptford.
