From Monday 1 June 2020, in line with guidance from the government, Go North East's bus services will start returning to what can be considered a 'normal' level of service on weekdays (albeit still reduced on weekends), also with some minor changes which had originally been planned to take place from 17 May 2020. As such, this vehicle has now been reinstated at Hexham.
April 2020
Go North East
Following completion of all required vehicle re-allocations; this vehicle has been temporarily withdrawn from service due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and has been officially delicensed (SORN'd), enabling Go North East to obtain a tax refund.
March 2020
Go North East
Due to the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, there is falling customer demand and available resources. Therefore, to combat this during these unprecedented times, Go North East has reduced its service levels from Monday 23 March to run enhanced Sunday timetables rather than the full normal weekday output (Sunday service levels, plus some extra morning journeys for key workers, and a small number of contracted school/works services). As such - due to the lower number of vehicles being required at the moment - a number of transfers have taken place to ensure services are operated by the most fuel-efficient, economic and reliable buses. One such transfer is of this vehicle from Hexham Depot to Riverside, in order to operate scholars services.

Go North East
Having previously carried "TEN" branding, this vehicle has been repainted into a dark green base livery. As part of ongoing improvements to services on the Tyne Valley, Go North East will re-brand its "TEN" 10/10A/10B/10X services as "Tyne Valley Ten" on a green base livery, moving away from the silver livery which the vehicles allocated to these services have carried since 2008. The new brand is designed to represent the picturesque Tyne Valley corridor and promotes the frequent buses to Metrocentre and Newcastle which the "TEN" group of services provide, up to every 10 minutes. The introduction of new vehicles on "Tyne Tees Xpress" services X9/X10 will see some of the existing Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 bodied Volvo B9TL allocation cascade to the "TEN" group of services to make up the shortfall of the PVR on the "TEN" group of services (currently allocated fleet livery Volvo B7TLs).
