From Monday 1 June 2020, in line with guidance from the government, Go North East's bus services will start returning to what can be considered a 'normal' level of service on weekdays (albeit still reduced on weekends), also with some minor changes which had originally been planned to take place from 17 May 2020. As such, this vehicle has now been reinstated at Chester-le-Street.

Following completion of all required vehicle re-allocations; this vehicle has been temporarily withdrawn from service due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and has been officially delicensed (SORN'd), enabling Go North East to obtain a tax refund.
March 2020 Go North East
Due to the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, there is falling customer demand and available resources. Therefore, to combat this during these unprecedented times, Go North East has reduced its service levels from Monday 23 March to run enhanced Sunday timetables rather than the full normal weekday output (Sunday service levels, plus some extra morning journeys for key workers, and a small number of contracted school/works services). As such - due to the lower number of vehicles being required at the moment - a number of transfers have taken place to ensure services are operated by the most fuel-efficient, economic and reliable buses. One such transfer is of this vehicle from Chester-le-Street Depot to Riverside, in order to operate scholars services.

This vehicle has been repainted into Go North East's 2019 fleet livery, and has now returned to service at Chester-le-Street Depot.

This vehicle has been withdrawn from service at Saltmeadows Road, to allow preparation for service (including repaint) to be completed.

Due to the delay in the entry into service of the new ADL Enviro400 vehicles at Consett, and changes already being made to drivers duties and running boards based on double-deck vehicles being in service at Consett, this vehicle has temporarily entered service at Saltmeadows Road Depot (in Brighton & Hove base livery), allowing similar examples in Go North East livery to be temporarily allocated to the X30 service at Consett.

This vehicle, previously with Brighton & Hove as their 637, has been acquired by Go North East and re-numbered 6163. It is one of five joining the fleet to enable the withdrawal of older double-decks in the fleet, and to assist with the displacement of dual-door vehicles from Chester-le-Street's fleet, following vehicle re-allocations in September 2019 which resulted in Chester-le-Street being allocated five dual-door buses due to a requirement for higher capacity vehicles to be used on Nexus Miscellaneous Works contracts instead.

This vehicle has received "Durham Diamond" branding, with sub-branding for services 16/16A (Durham - Stanley - Castleside). The new "Durham Diamond" brand replaces the current branding on "Diamond" services 43/44 and "Venture" service V8, coinciding with service changes which will take place at the end of October.
October 2012 Go North East
This vehicle has transferred from Deptford Depot to Winlaton, to upgrade the "Blaydon Racers" 49 service, allowing the dual-door Wright Renown bodied Volvo B10BLEs currently operating on this service to cascade elsewhere.
October 2017 Go North East
This vehicle has received a promotional livery for Go North East's "Big Days Out" campaign. The campaign, which was originally introduced in the summer of 2017 but will now be ongoing for the foreseeable future, has seen Go North East partner up with a number of attractions and businesses to bring its customers some great family offers. Following the entry into service of Optare Solo SR M900/Optare 720 (YJ62 FYH) at Peterlee; this vehicle has transferred from Peterlee Depot to Chester-le-Street, serving as a replacement vehicle for already-withdrawn Scania L94UB/Wright Solar 4958 (NL52 WVO).
