Following the end of the Sunderland Tall Ships and International Airshow events, which Go North East had an increased vehicle requirement to operate services for, this vehicle has returned to Saltmeadows Road Depot to have its seats re-trimmed into Go North East's standard blue 'Go' moquette. Unlike similar 6168 (YN56 FFH) and 6169 (YN56 FFJ), this work was unable to be completed prior to entering service, due to the increased vehicle requirement in July.

Due to extra vehicle requirements associated with operating Metro Replacement services between Monument and Monkseaton, as well as operating Port of Tyne Cruise Ship shuttle services, this vehicle has temporarily entered service at Riverside Depot on the Jewish Scholars 850/851 contract. This, in turn, has allowed the ordinary Scania N94UD/East Lancs OmniDekka allocation, 6126 (GX03 SUY), 6127 (GX03 SVA), and 6129 (GX03 SVD), to operate the Metro Replacement services instead.

Previously with Brighton & Hove as fleet number 915, this vehicle has now joined the Go North East fleet. It is one of the first in the batch to be amalgamated into Go North East's fleet, thought to be being disposed of by Brighton & Hove due to their increased length (11.9m) compared to a standard Scania OmniDekka (10.6m). Though the allocation of this vehicle is as-yet unknown; it will be repainted into Go North East's corporate livery prior to formally being allocated to a depot, and is likely to find use over the summer months on Special Events and contracts (such as the Sunderland Tall Ships Park & Ride services).

This vehicle has been repainted into Go North East's new corporate livery. The new livery design is a a lot more eye-catching and features a two-tone base livery, with the traditional key colour of red towards the front of the bus, and non-metallic dark blue towards the back. It is thought that further vinyls will be added at a later date, in order to reflect the quality and customer values... see more
