February 2019 Go North East This vehicle has been purchased by Cumfybus, Southport, from CVA Auctions.
February 2019 Go North East As the Hybrid Optare Solos previously used on the "Sunderland Connect" 700/701 services are not owned by Go North East, they have now been returned to Sunderland City Council having been decommissioned following withdrawal. They will be made available for onward sale at CVA Auctions, Doncaster, on Tuesday 26 February.
January 2019 Go North East Photograph by Following the entry into service of the new vehicles on "Sunderland Connect" services 700/701, this vehicle has been withdrawn from service at Deptford Depot.
November 2018 Go North East Ahead of the impending delivery of the new vehicles for "Sunderland Connect" service 700, the Next Stop Announcement system has been removed from this vehicle. The system will be installed into the new vehicles on delivery.
September 2016 Go North East Following repaint, this vehicle has received "Sunderland Connect" branding.
September 2016 Go North East Ahead of the commencement of the new contract for "Sunderland Connect" service 700, this vehicle has been repainted into a plain green base livery. The three "Sunderland Connect" branded vehicles gained a promotional wrap-style advertisement to celebrate Christmas in Sunderland during the festive season in 2014. The removal of the wrap-style advertisement in January 2015 resulted in the paintwork being left in poor condition. Nexus recognised this, and included repainting the three Hybrid vehicles as part of the contract.
