March 2018 Go North East
With three of the boards on "Wear Xpress" services X6/X7 being temporarily converted to Scania L94UB/Wright Solar operation, the displaced "Wear Xpress" branded Optare Solo SR M890 vehicles are being allocated to other services. Two of these vehicles are to be allocated to Nexus-secured service 168 (East Rainton - Easington Lane) and "indiGo East Durham" service 206 (Peterlee - Hutton Henry), which are currently operated by this vehicle and sister 636 (NK61 FMD). As a result; ahead of the commencement of the seasonal Hadrian's Wall AD122 service and this vehicle's allocation to Hexham Depot, it has been temporarily withdrawn from service at Peterlee Depot, to allow it to be prepared for service (removal of vandal screen and bodywork etc tidied up for better presentation).
October 2017 Go North East
Reflecting changes to Durham County Council contracts; this vehicle has transferred from Riverside Depot to Peterlee, serving as a replacement vehicle for Optare Solo M710SE/Optare 707 (WK58 EAF) and 708 (WK58 EAG) on Nexus-secured service 168 and service 206, as these vehicles have transferred to Stanley. The allocation of this vehicle to Peterlee is only temporary, as this vehicle is not required at Hexham Depot over the winter season while the Hadrian's Wall Country Bus AD122 service does not operate. It had previously spent some time at Riverside Depot, seeing use as a reserve vehicle for a shuttle bus service in operation in the Winlaton area.
October 2017 Go North East
Due to the closure of Blaydon Bank between Shibdon Road and Widdrington Road from Saturday 21 until Wednesday 25 October, buses will be unable to run to normal route and will be diverted for the period of the works. During this time a shuttle bus will be serving the areas which cannot be served by services 12/12A, 49, 69 and 90 for the duration of the works. As this vehicle is not required at Hexham Depot over the winter season while the Hadrian's Wall Country Bus AD122 service does not operate; this vehicle has transferred from Hexham Depot to Riverside, where it will act as the backup vehicle in the event that the allocated vehicle for this shuttle bus, Wright Streetlite WF/Wright Streetlite 9101 (SK65 PWV), is unfit for service.
