October 2020 Go North East Photograph by To be trialled on all of Go North East's double-deck "X-lines" branded services to compare against the standard 5.1-litre 4-cylinder Daimler OM934 engined Wright StreetDecks and 6.7-litre Cummins engined ADL Enviro400 MMCs, this vehicle has now entered service at Washington Depot, on "X-lines" service X1.

September 2020 Go North East This vehicle, which is one of 20 new Wright StreetDecks to be ordered by Go North East representing an investment of £4.5million, has been delivered. Carrying the light grey/charcoal variant of the "X-lines" livery; this vehicle features Go North East's 2019 interior colour specification, and is equipped with free Wi-Fi, charging points (three-pin sockets at tables, USB and wireless charging on the back of every seat), next stop audio-visual announcements, and tables on the upper saloon. A first for Go North East, this batch of vehicles are also fitted with a 'double-depth' front LED destination display as well as an offside display. This vehicle is also unique in being the first example of its type to be delivered in the UK with the 7.7-litre 6-cylinder Daimler OM936 engine, delivering more power and a higher top speed, compared to the standard 5.1-litre 4-cylinder Daimler OM934 engine fitted to other StreetDecks. It is now undergoing preparation for service at Saltmeadows Road Depot.
