This vehicle has been withdrawn from service at Chester-le-Street Depot's Coaching Unit, and is now in use by Gateshead Depot's Driver Training school.

Following transfer to Washington Depot to operate "South Tyne" services 88/88A, this vehicle has been repainted into a plain lilac base livery.

This vehicle has temporarily transferred from Hexham Depot to Riverside, to operate a Rail Replacement service on behalf of Northern this weekend.
