This vehicle has moved into a newly-formed Special Events and Private Hire fleet. This Special Events fleet comprises of various coaches and double-deck buses: these should not be allocated to public services, but will be brought into service to operate Park & Ride contracts, shuttle services, and other services associated with special events. These vehicles also remain available for Private Hire.

Seven second-hand "National Express" liveried Caetano Levante bodied Volvo B9Rs have arrived at Chester-le-Street depot for use within the Coaching Unit. These vehicles previously served with Yourbus, Heanor, and have been allocated the following fleet numbers: 7113 (FJ60 EGY), 7114 (FJ60 HXW), 7115 (FJ60 HYB), 7116 (FJ60 KVM), 7117 (FJ60 KVO), 7118 (FJ60 KVP), and 7119 (FJ60 KVR).
