This vehicle has received "Lambton Worm" branding, with sub-branding for service 71 (Chester-le-Street - Houghton-le-Spring - Sunderland). The Lambton Worm is a legend from County Durham in North East England in the UK. The story takes place around the River Wear, and is one of the area's most famous pieces of folklore, having been adapted from written and oral tradition into pantomime and song formats.

Following the entry into service of new Mercedes Citaro 0530N/Mercedes Citaro vehicles at Gateshead Depot, this vehicle has transferred from Gateshead Depot to Chester-le-Street.

Prior to new branding being launched, this vehicle has been repainted into a plain green base livery.

This vehicle has been repainted into a plain yellow base livery. Following funding withdrawals from Newcastle City Council and Gateshead Council, the future of the "QuayLink" services (which Go North East operates under contract to Nexus) was unknown. This vehicle has transferred from Washington Depot to Chester-le-Street, on temporary loan, to alleviate vehicle shortages.

This vehicle, previously with East Yorkshire as their fleet number 582, has been acquired on temporary loan.
June 2017 Go North East
This vehicle has entered service at Deptford Depot on "Black Cats" services 2/2A (Silksworth - Washington) and 39 (Doxford Park - Pennywell). The Optare Versas currently allocated to services 2/2A are in line to be cascaded to another depot, whilst the Scania L94s currently allocated to service 39 are in line to cascade to services 38 and 61 at Deptford.
