This vehicle has received "Lambton Worm" branding, with sub-branding for service 71 (Chester-le-Street - Houghton-le-Spring - Sunderland). The Lambton Worm is a legend from County Durham in North East England in the UK. The story takes place around the River Wear, and is one of the area's most famous pieces of folklore, having been adapted from written and oral tradition into pantomime and song formats.

Following the entry into service of new Mercedes Citaro 0530N/Mercedes Citaro vehicles at Gateshead Depot, this vehicle has transferred from Gateshead Depot to Chester-le-Street.

Prior to new branding being launched, this vehicle has been repainted into a plain green base livery.

This vehicle has been sold for scrap to Alpha Recovery, Weetslade.

Following the recent announcement that the Stagecoach operated City Sightseeing tour of Newcastle will not be returning this season, Go North East has decided to launch their own trial operation of a part replacement seasonal open top bus service. May 2019 Go North East
Ahead of upcoming service changes and consequent re-allocations, this vehicle has lost its "indiGo" branding having been repainted into a new four-colour base livery. The livery is mostly gold-based at the front, with a berry colour at the rear. Prior to being repainted the bus was also fitted with USB charging sockets at Thornton Brothers, Ashington.

Following a number of publicity events to promote the investment into new vehicles for services 45 and 46, this vehicle has entered service at Stanley Depot on "Red Kite" services 45/46.
