Operating in competition with Arriva North East's similar 230 service from 11th December 2006, the 30 service operates between Sunderland, Grangetown, Ryhope, Peterlee, Horden, Blackhall and Hartlepool, on a half-hourly frequency.
September 2006 Go North East Prior to new branding being launched, this vehicle has been repainted into Go North East's new red, yellow and blue 'swoop-style' fleet livery at Hogarths Coachworks, Birtley.
