Ahead of the delivery of new electric buses for "Saltwell Park" services 53/54, which are going to be re-branded as "Voltra", this vehicle has been repainted into Go North East's 2019 fleet livery.

Following amendments to the rear boot lid vinyls last year; this vehicle has now had its existing cant rail vinyls stripped, and it has been revised to show the new standardised design, with the text showing the words "Buses run early til late • Into Gateshead, Newcastle City Centre and Saltwell Park up to every 10 minutes".

Following the closure of Gateshead and Winlaton depots, this vehicle has been transferred to the brand new Riverside Depot. Riverside Depot replaces the existing depots at Sunderland Road in Gateshead and Winlaton which date back to the days of the tramways.

This vehicle, which carries a mint green base livery, has arrived into the Go North East fleet. It is currently being prepared for service at Saltmeadows Road Depot. It will be transferred to Gateshead in due course, where it will be allocated to "Saltwell Park" services 53/54.

As the intended Volvo B11RT/Plaxton Elitei coaches from Oxford Bus Company will not be delivered by 5 September, by which point the temporary Volvo B9TL allocation will need to be displaced as the schools return, this vehicle has been stripped of National Express vinyls and has received temporary "X-lines" branding, with sub-branding for services X9/X10. This vehicle has been repainted into the blue variant of the "X-lines" livery, at Bus & Coach World, Blackburn. It has now returned to Saltmeadows Road to receive "X-lines" branding, prior to returning to service at Chester-le-Street.
