Vehicle History

July 2018 Go North East Photograph by Following delivery of East Yorkshire Motor Services' 595 (PJ02 RBF), now numbered 6940 in the Go North East fleet, this vehicle has been returned to East Yorkshire Motor Services.
July 2018 Go North East Photograph by This vehicle has transferred from Deptford Depot to Riverside. As this vehicle is fitted with Mobitec destination displays which could not be programmed in time for the Sunderland Tall Ships event, and is fitted with wiring for a Parkeon ETM as opposed to the Ticketer wiring which Go North East is more accustomed to, it has been allocated to Riverside Depot to be allocated to the Jewish Scholars services 850/851. This is a private contract which does not require a ticket machine to be fitted.
July 2018 Go North East Photograph by A batch of 7 withdrawn Volvo B7TL/Plaxton President vehicles are currently in the process of being amalgamated into the Go North East fleet, for exclusive use over the summer on Special Events and contracts (such as the Sunderland Tall Ships Park & Ride services). As EYMS' 595 (PJ02 RBF), to be numbered 6940 in Go North East's fleet, has not been put through annual PSV test in time to transfer north as expected, this vehicle has joined the Go North East fleet on temporary loan for a week in lieu of it. It is allocated fleet number 790 in the East Yorkshire Motor Services fleet.
