Following a period of use at Go North East on demonstration, this vehicle has been returned to Evobus.

Following use on the temporary shuttle bus, numbered S25, in Eighton Banks and Wrekenton, this vehicle has transferred from Riverside Depot to Hexham. It will be allocated to "Tynedale Links" services X81/185/681 to compare against the low-carbon emission Optare Solo SRs currently allocated to these services, as originally planned when it was previously allocated to Hexham.

Although not used at Hexham Depot during its time allocated there; this vehicle has transferred from Hexham Depot to Riverside, where it will see allocation to a free shuttle bus in operation between Monday 15th May and Friday 19th May, due to the X25 service being diverted between Wrekenton and Portobello as a result of a road closure at Eighton Banks. During this time, the X25 service will divert via Long Bank, A1 on-slip, A1, A1 off-slip and Mill House roundabout, with Newcastle bound services diverting from Portobello onto A1, Eighton Lodge roundabout and Long Bank to Wrekenton. The shuttle bus will run between Wrekenton Bus Link and Mill House Roundabout, connecting with the diverted X25 service.

This vehicle has transferred from Riverside Depot to Hexham, where it, following installation of a new Ticketer ticket machine, will be allocated to "Tynedale Links" services X81/185/681 to compare against the low-carbon emission Optare Solo SRs currently allocated to these services.

Following a recent £2.8 million investment in 30 smart new Mercedes minibuses for Stagecoach's town services in Ashford, Go North East has acquired this similar Mercedes Sprinter minibus for a four-week trial in their fleet, numbered 9097. Stagecoach announced the launch of the high-spec minibus service, effective Sunday 12th February and branded ‘little & often’, which will provide buses every five or six minutes along routes serving the hospital, town centre/rail station, Kennington and Park Farm.

Upcoming service changes in May will see the "Toon Link" brand encompass services 6, X30/X31 and X70/X71 with a mixed allocation of Scania OmniCitys and Scania OmniDekkas. This vehicle has consequently received "Toon Link" branding, following repaint.

Following temporary loan to Chester-le-Street Depot, this vehicle has returned to service at Stanley.

This vehicle has received "Metrocentre Mini" branding, for services M6/M7/M8. "Metrocentre Mini" is the new brand name being introduced for the direct and frequent services operating between Stanley and Metrocentre. Service changes, effective 21st May, will see "Venture" services V7/V8 re-numbered M7/M8, and the introduction of a new service to increase the frequency... see more

With an expected announcement from the UK Government on Sunday 10 May to relax some of the current "lockdown" restrictions in the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, which could lead to an increased number of passengers travelling on Go North East's bus services, further re-allocations and service allocation revisions are being made, in order to increase social distancing... see more
