It is believed that Go North East has ordered five new 'Solo SR' vehicles from Optare, to be deployed on Hexham's "Tynedale Links" network of services. As a consequence; some of the Transbus MPD/Transbus Mini Pointer vehicles currently allocated are due to be withdrawn. 555 (NK53 TKT) is one of these vehicles, and it is believed that this vehicle's MOT is due to expire imminently.
