Having previously been displayed at the 2012 Euro Bus Expo; this vehicle, which carries Go North East's corporate livery having been built as a Go-Ahead demonstration vehicle, has now been acquired by Go North East for a demonstration trial to compare against other new single deckers available on the market.

Taking the intended place of Volvo B7TL/Plaxton President 6035 (V335 LGC), which has been withdrawn due to unstable gearbox, this vehicle has transferred from Chester-le-Street Depot to Stanley. This vehicle serves as a temporary replacement for Dennis Trident/East Lancs Lolyne 3873 (W183 SCU) which has been withdrawn earlier than originally planned for MOT cost avoidance.
