North East Buses - Newcastle Airport

Might be worth mentioning that two new Optare Metrocity buses have turned up for use on the car park shuttles at Newcastle Airport - believe they are YJ16DXO/DXP.

Current vehicles are:
MAN MCV Evolution AE05OVA (BUS3)
MAN MCV Evolution BC05JHU (BUS2)
MAN Meridian FJ09PXO (BUS1)
Centro MX59KUE (BUS4)

I expect some of these will leave now though.

They were extending the car park for this summer so that may be why 2 more vehicles have been brought in. Buses tend to run every 5-10 minutes, I guess it will vary over the day. You can photograph them outside the terminal building.

Further to the two Optare MetroCity's purchased in 2016, Newcastle Airport Park & Fly have purchased a further example recently BUS 5 (YJ68 FRX).
