They look very smart Paul have seen them over the last couple of weeks!
I have done the Yutong now.
It is a pale metallic blue.

It's the Volvo recovery wagon next, I get to choose the colour, what do we reckon? pink, lime green.....

What are the choices? I reckon a nice green would do, would be a nice contrast to the fleet.

Sure we will see it out and about bet it looks really tidy.
Got to be something that stands out on a recovery truck I think it would look good in your light blue with yellow reflective graphics!

The old Daf went at the same time as the last two primo's.
Bolivia I think
It was loaded into a curtainsider truck and away.
I thought it is worth mentioning that Travelsure have gotten Dennis dart SF54 LHR back to road worthy condition after years of being unused and parts removed and it should be back in used soon.

As seen in this photo below I took on Friday, it's still some way off being roadworthy, even if it makes it on the road if that. They seem to be favouring Solos these days.

A lot of money was spent on "Spare-part Dart" including new panels, gearbox, brakes, many engine components etc.
just couldn't get ecu's to converse and ultimately it wouldn't run.
A chap from Dennis turned up one day and he couldn't get it to go either.
And so it got shoved into the corner with the tow truck and refilled with rubbish.
one day, maybe....

Did notice it was lacking some importent components, namely one major item being the steering wheel, drivers seat etc.

Judging by some other photos in my files, it's been painted that shade of blue for a while too.

Every now and again another attempt is made to get it going if anyone has a sudden brainwave,
Maybe PCL will want it.
Paul any idea on what the previous registration of the Dennis Javelin is (697BYU). If not sure, could you find out the chassis number and I can find out that way.

Previous registration was DY10SNK. The vehicle was originally LC10WYN when new in May 2010.

Thanks Charles, will update my photo on Flickr when I get home from work tonight.
