Sunderland service 23, will be diverting for the time-being, a child has been knocked over at Springwell shops, so the road is blocked.

I can see it from my house.

Edit: From Stagecoach NE twitter......

Not bad loads then, hopefully continues!
Hopefully they don't start putting the fares up dramatically. I think the value for money is one of the main reasons the service gets good passenger numbers.

Can we clear some recent fleet changes up.
From noted in the September thread I believe the following has occurred, correct me if I am wrong.
34605 - Reserve at Sunderland along with 35189 and 39709.

34611 - Reserve and Training at Sunderland. Is this allocated to service work? As it's last time in service was on the Airshow with service 18.

35194 - Apparently withdrawn from service and replaced by 35195.

35195 - Apparently reinstated and allowed 35194 to be withdrawn.

Could anyone correct me if I am wrong.

Though like several other vehicles in the fleet, the Sunderland reserves remain in active service

As I'm working in Newcastle next week I'm going use the x24

It stops round the corner on the left next to the magistrates court. Where the 33 to Gosforth has its layover.
E300 27730 is now in corporate livery, is this a sign of new buses for the economics?

I've heard that stagecoach wants everything in corporate, I've heard that the gas buses are going into corporate colours when there next due in for repaint.

All Economics are losing their branding with all Gas E300 and E400Hs heading into the corporate livery yes. North East are first inline for new buses on the 2018/19 order after orders were postponed for this financial year.

Funny, i was just about to type that.

I'm not sure what's on order, but i hope more gas buses for Sunderland, making it full gas operated....... hopefully better buses for the X24.
At least this means the gas E300's will finally lose the "Check out our new ride" tagines

It's been on the cards for months, so wouldn't hold your breath on it happening in the next few weeks. Possibly on hold now waiting for the new corporate livery to be finalised.
