Totally agree! There aren't any particularly old buses here. Maybe they just seem older because they lack the technology Arriva and Go-Ahead treat us to. like USB's and NSA's The oldest buses we have are only 10 years of age... even if they do acount for nearly 2/3 of the fleet. Even if they did give us new buses, It would only be Enviro 200's and frankly, I'd rather keep the MAN's.

I agree. I would rather keep MAN buses as well. Maybe they don't present themselves as good as they could, but they are pretty okay and what's the most important - they are reliable. I don't see any reason for purchasing new vehicles - it would be a waste of money.

PVR goes from 15 to 16. They've got lucky with 19443 this year, up there in the top deckers at Walkergate.

I wouldn't expect Hartlepool to be purchasing any new buses, more likely to receive saloon cascades from Shields or Sunderland when further investment is seen there.

I think the MAN we have in Hartlepool would be better at Newcastle or Sunderland cause of the power I think Hartlepool would be better off with ADL ENVIRO 200 for area even more with most of it been town work
Hi has one of man at Stockton been repaint I saw it Newport road just now.

True..
27734 is currently at Sunderland for repaint
Had a bit of spare time yesterday afternoon so I had a trip out on one of Hartlepool depots apparently ancient buses. Decided to use service 3, both the quietest and hilliest route. It was 39669 that turned up. I must admit, the interior did look a little tired. But thats nothing a refurb wouldn't sort out. Shove in some wi-fi and a few USB sockets while they're at it and it's as good as new! 39669 seemed perfectly capable of weaving its way through Bishop Cuthbert and Clavering. Who needs new (or newer) buses? Should be at least another 5 years left in most of these things!
22509 has apparently had it's day, withdrawn and awaiting disposal. It has sat rather useless for months on end.

I wouldn't put USBs in, the E200MMCs have had there sockets damaged by some passengers.

Could this be the reason for 39727 transferring to Slatyford?

Would seem likely, was my thoughts too. Not that 22509 has been out since about October last year.

Has anyone seen 24002 recently?
I haven't seen it since it broke down at the start of this year.
24115 is now in Great Exhibition of the North livery.
