Is the short 1 from gateshead to North Shields allocated 6941?
Also, what is the 16:20 and 16:50 X21 runs off tNewcastle allocated?
Last thing, what V reg presidents are left and what is their allocation?

Not necessarily 6941, but one from the former EYMS batch as far as I can tell.

Also, it seems to keep the same vehicle for a few days running, from my (limited!) observations.

1. Yes, although it could be allocated something else during school holidays

2.

16.20 - 3965

16.50 - 6010

3.

6010 - Riverside

6017 - Washington

6033 - Riverside

I think they do try and keep 6941 on there with it being in fleet livery.

Likewise the 16:20 X21 is usually 3965, running onto the 17:40 6 to Newcastle and 18:55 6A to Stanley afterwards.

16:50 was usually 6010, though that hasn't been the case as of late - almost as if they don't want it used on the X21.

16:50 X21, on paper at least, should always be a fleet livery B7/Gemini. Like 6941, they were repainted for a reason!

In reality, I dare say we're in single figures for the number of times one of these has actually been allocated to that particular journey, since September.

6010 has just recently been MOT'd, so has been off the road for preparation etc.

Very very rarely is anything from the former EYMS batch on apart from 6941.

If 6941 is not on, it's normally a Vyking

Is GNE sure that putting Solos on the 19 was a good idea? This is nearly double the number of employees utilitywise had: https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/business...t-16511149

Plenty of single-decks coming out of the fleet this year so if capacity proves to be an issue then it's easily solved.

From 21 July all boards on service 19 will be operated by Solos as this better matches the current passenger numbers.

Yeah, suppose it's a boost for the 42/42A/X39/309/310 and 19. Swings and roundabouts though as no doubt the Q3 will lose out.

Great Park will see a number of new houses in the long term so the Q3 over time will be alright.

Are the ex blue arrow buses gonna get repainted soon, few times ive heard someone say 'heres the 11' when in fact its a 1A,or is it just a temporary solution for now
Little rumour i got told was 6118-6121 could be heading to percy main , my guess would be 2 on the 1s to make PVR correct again and rest spares
Also any news on ex London B9s where they will go once been replaced by streetdecks.
Does anyone know about a mystery demonstrator fleet numbered 9072 was tracked on the 891 earlier on

The ex London B9s are to be fitted with equipment to make them Euro 6 standard, the cost coming from a grant applied for by Gateshead Council, therefore they'll need to operate mostly in that area.

Not heard anything concrete about 6118-21 but the idea makes more sense than moving them to East Yorkshire or the DFDS route or something like that.

What is the regestration plates of 9072 & 9073 and what types of bus are they

9073 is MF51LZX, the other two are MF51MBV and X672ABU but don't know which is 9072 and which is 9074. Should only be used on Jewish Scholars services enabling black OmniDekka's to do cricket shuttles apparently
If they've numbered in age / registration order, I hazard a guess that 9072 is X672ABU and 9074 is MF51MBV
Just a prediction but could we see all Consett deckers receive a full interior refurb throughout the 6 weeks to match the standard GNE spec with recieiving other deckers inc presidents and gemini 1s to help with PVR till they have been completed putting 6100,6116 and 6117 on hold for refurb?
