Go-Ahead could move for rival's bus business as profits fall

Has DB (Arriva) announced anything about selling any of the UK bus divisions or is it just up in the air rumours?

E400s will arrive 1st, service changes for X30/X31 on 29/09 so that might be linked Streetdecks more likely November, although no internal briefing on the date.

What are the changes?, nothing on the GNE site yet?, and 29/9 is not that long away
Edit: looking in the upcoming changes thread, the 6 and 6A are also changing on that date with the 704 getting withdrawn

To be honest I don’t know, nothing mentioned either

I'd say the changes to the 6 & 6A will be the later journeys being re-timed as several users have picked up on the later journeys from the Metrocentre being badly timed for shift patterns.

If that’s the case with the 6a, they inter work with the X30 so they’ll need to change as well

At most, the X30 would be re-timed by 5 minutes towards Stanley and 10 minutes towards Newcastle. Maybe something like this:
Newcastle(6A): 18:55
Stanley(6A): 20:08
Stanley(6A): 20:15
Newcastle(6A): 21:24
Newcastle(X30): 21:30
Stanley(X30): 22:06
Stanley(X30): 22:15
Newcastle(X30): 22:51
Newcastle(6A): 23:00
Stanley(6A): 00:08

What fleet number will it gain, and is it a permanent move or just temporary until new buses arrive allowing the appropriate cascades?

Somewhere in East Durham perhaps? Peterlee/Seaham area?
County Coaches had Headways stuff in the past and full size coaches were used on those contracts.
