Think 2850 & 2851 are transferring to Belmont for the increased PVR on the 57/57A as a result of Scarlet Band giving up the 58/58A
1759 moving to Darlington is more of a wise move then darlo loaning one of redcar pulsar.
4658 are we likely to see this return onto the roads this year or are we by some miracle going to get some new buses to replace the omicity

By all accounts the Scania’s are supposed to be getting replaced this year, so if it does get a new engine then it will probably be the last one to be replaced but other than that I don’t see it coming back to be perfectly honest, could be wrong though
1759 entered service at Darlington today ending up on the 3s
Has 7424 been loaned to Darlington

Indeed they have - Darlington have gained 1473 in exchange. 2817 has also reportedly left Darlington for Jesmond.

Regarding depot transfers, for instance the recent (albeit temporary) movement of Whitby P&R  7609 to Blyth,  (from Redcar?) Do staff - driver/service supervisor/engineering staff, from  the 'borrowing' depot have to collect, and if so, how do they travel to the 'lending' depot?
The 57/57A have been fully Optare Solo operated today. By any chance is there any narrow roads on the 57 route?

I wouldn't say they were particularly narrow, although the 57 does get down some estate roads.
Some of the route of the 57A is shadowed by the X21 and you know what gets allocated to that.
I'd suggest the vehicle allocation for the 57a was more to do with loadings than owt else.

Town Kelloe to Trimdon Grange can be quiet narrow in places, but as said before a Solo will perfect for loadings on the 57/57A

It appears from the tracking history on Bus Times that the revised 57/57a interworking with two working on the 43 in Durham.

Yes, Service 57/57A it is specifically allocated Solos, mainly due to the route in Quarrington Hill.

It Interworks with half of Service 43, presumably to allow driving duties to be cut in either, 3, 4 or 5 hour chunks. If the 57/57A didn't interwork, drivers would need to be changed every time, creating only 3 hour chunks of work, which isn't very efficient.

When the SB ran the 58, the buses used where mainly Enviro 200’s, Versa’s with the odd solo.

In fairness, that's because that's what SB have!

The biggest problem along the 57 route tends to be mostly double parking, though nothing full length could manage that about turn in Quarrington Hill. Even the E200s struggled with it, sometimes.
Are Arriva going to start upgrading buses to Euro 6 that run into Newcastle?
Am I correct at thinking 1602 - 1614 & 7541 - 7552 are the only Euro 6 buses aswell...

They are the only Euro 6 from build yes, but quite a few have already been retrofitted.

You can normally tell by the shape of the exhaust.

From the south, I wouldn't be surprised if they just stop the X12 short. Loadings are consistently mediocre and reliability is terrible.
