Looks like its actually 1531 according to a comment on the same photo (if its the one I'm thinking of)

What is the new sapphire front?
It is 1531, was involved in a front end damage accident near Cockfield whilst operating on Service 6 a few weeks ago.
The whole front end needed to be replaced.
Understand no other vehicles involved.

It's darker purple. A few VDL have it and 7510 and a few MMC Ashington buses have it

How did they manage that if no other vehicles were involved?
Can't quite make out where it is, but I don't think anywhere along that road is particularly bad.
And I don't believe it was particularly cold that day either?

Driver medical episode I believe.
1531 has reentered service but in the standard livery

Believe it or not those Sapphire Versa's were formerly of Yorkshire Tiger! They recently transferred to Arriva Yorkshire and had a spruce up/Sapphire repaint after YT gave up the airport services they used to be allocated to, hence why they're in such good nick!
