Do you bus companies have code reds, blacks like train companies do?
If so, have they ever been declared?

They'll have contingency plans in the event of severe disruption, but probably not alarmist code reds or blacks.

Rail doesn't even use red/black, just Customer Service Level 2 (CSL2) (major disruption) and Do Not Travel. LNER do have coloured service statuses (green, amber, red and black) but that doesn't appear to be for anything other than administration purposes.

Internally, TOCs do have Code Green, Yellow, Red and Black levels of disruption.
One such example is: Green delays of 1-9 minutes, Yellow 10-29 minutes, Red 30+ minutes. Black used for major line blockages (usually impacting road network too) or catastrophic incidents. But there are lots of variables of which is necessary.
