For me it's the instant torque of the electric motor, and trying to guess when the driver is going to lift off to let the engine kick in.
Plus, I like the seat at the bottom of the stairs

What's the reasoning for pulling the Streetdecks off of the X5/X15 and replacing them with older vehicles, from personal experience of using the service a few times since it was upgraded there was no issues with the allocated vehicles.

ULEZ & need for deckers for any routes that go into Newcastle ready for when it comes into effect.
6301-07 are being split between CLS & Washington to provide enough Euro 6 decker spares.
No doubt if GNE's EV bids are successful, these will be marketed as 'temporary'.

Really Washington/Chester-le-Street/Deptford/Peterlee/Hexham have extremely little space, so for the infrastructure needs to be improved. And Consett has space just no infrastructure.
Also 6301-6307, 6304-6307 might aswell be painted into either X21 Xlines or X1 Xlines or Spare Xlines.

Also I believe Hexham would have space, considering if they did get EV, they would just replace what is already there. Really the land around deptford could be bought...do you think they'll ever have charging stations above the stops in some placed, e.g. Park Lane.

according to the website quack77 ,6065 is in Yellow X lines livery. When I passed Saltmeadows just nearly 3 weeks ago 6068 was outside still in coaster livery and 8329 was behind by the back fence in full Berries livery.

Good news, then... Tables are being added (the ones which came out of the X-lines ADL Enviro400s when their tables were swapped for the newer style as per the Hexham quartet).
