Scholars services operated by Deptford.

For some stupid reason Durham County Council seem to love giving their closed door scholars services 4 characters these days.

Probably because there's loads of contracts not operated by bus/coach operators that come under the same framework, such as special needs transportation operated by taxi companies which also have to carry their four digit route number in the window.

So instead of coming up with loads of bus industry 'standard' numbers which will either clash or cause them to run out of numbers, they use their own internal ones instead.
